M83 Makes The Best Videos/Songs/Album Covers Ever

i should change that statement to: they create a unique little world of teenage melodrama with their music/visuals/art that make me wish i was 15 years old and full of angst. i loves me some M83.

Television "Foxhole"

thanks to David for posting this on facebook.

AMERICA...FUCK YEAH

greatest songs of all time: "Girl Don't Tell Me"

i mean "God Only Knows" and "Don't Worry Baby" are nice and all, but for my money the best song the Beach Boys ever recorded is "Girl Don't Tell Me". it's fucking perfect pop. sad, romantic, the soundtrack of a summer night driving alone wishing you could see the girl you love. un-fucking-deniable.

Icarus Line Heart Stevie Ray Vaughn

among the coolest things i ever saw in my whole life, easily top 5 would be when Icarus Line guitarist Aaron North smashed a glass case containing a signed Stevie Ray Vaughn guitar at the Hard Rock Cafe in Austin, Texas during SXSW 2002. i had no idea until right now that there was some video of it.

The Wolfmen vs. Primal Scream, I Put A Spell On You

Replacements/Alex Chilton show

how fucking rad would it have been to be at this show?

actually knowing the Replacements they probably got wasted and played a bunch of shitty covers and Alex Chilton probably sucked...but in my fantasy world this would've been awesome.
