Turf War doing a little CCR

Turf War covering CCR's "Bad Moon Rising" at the Southern Comfort lounge. 9/10/11.

My early Vote for best song of 2011

i'm probably a little biased, but Cheers To The Years is about the most damn catchy garage pop/rock and roll little number that any Atlanta boys could hope to produce. it's the kind of song you hear one time and you know exactly what the fuck Turf War is a bout....good times, sad times, and reckless times. keep your eyes peeled for their album in September, Years Of Living Dangerously, on Old Flame records. enjoy.

“Of all the Atlanta acts to descend upon Austin, rambunctious rockers Turf War put on one of the best shows. As the band preps the release of their yet-to-be-titled debut record, they previewed much of the new material at their multiple SXSW stops. If these early previews are any indication, Turf War won’t be among Atlanta’s best-kept secrets for much longer.”
