The greatest American rock n' roll band of the 1980s is gonna play their first shows in 22 years! granted Bob Stinson is still dead, so a real Mats reunion remains impossible, but Tommy Stinson and Paul Westerberg are gonna be on stage together playing some of best goddamn songs ever written and that's about as good as it's gonna get.

I traveled from ATL to MPLS last weekend to see them (and visit some friends). The Mats put on a great show. They played a lot of early songs from Sorry Ma, plus "Nowhere Is My Home".
